After detailed tests, the Swiss Canton of Vaud has introduced in 2025 our App “TEAN – learn the clock” into its public school system to make it available to about 100’000 students. In Europe but also in the US, the majority of young people don’t know anymore to read time by looking at the clock’s hands. Is this really true?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

The TEAN app addresses :<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

teachers and parents<\/strong> : primary school (5-8H in Switzerland), who learn to read the clock and how to tell time (“a quarter to”, “half past”, “five to”, etc.) in french, german, english<\/strong>.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young people and not-so-young-anymore who want to re-learn how to read the time<\/strong> on an analogue dial<\/strong> (choice: 10 progressive dials, increasingly abstract).<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Language teachers teaching interactive expressions like interactive expressions of time<\/strong>, such as “quarter to..”, “half past..”, “ten past..” in French<\/strong>, German<\/strong>, English<\/strong> and many other languages.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n
